Vape Success Series: Reopening Responsibly

As cities and states start reopening their economies, what does this mean for your vape shop? The eJuices.co team will share a few tips and tricks on how to reopen your shop responsibly and safely. While we recognize that COVID-19 is still a threat, here is how you can minimize the risk when you reopen your shop.


Wear Masks


It is no secret that you should wear masks when you go out in public to reduce the risk of COVID-19. Many cities and states are requiring people to wear masks in public places and other places of business that are reopening. Your vape shop is no exception to this rule.


While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have their own guidelineshere, your state and/or locality may have additional guidelines for reopening your businesses. Have all your employees wear masks when they are working in the store. You should also encourage customers to wear a mask in the store at all times for additional protection even if your state/locality does not explicitly say so.


Social Distancing


You may also have to operate at limited capacity depending on your state or locality’s laws. It may be wise to have social distancing guidelines in place. In fact, some states and localities may require that you only operate at half capacity (or even lower), so keep this in mind when you are reopening.


Maintain Cleanliness


COVID-19 can spread in a number of ways, and eJuice bottles and hardware packages can be a culprit. Your reopening means maintaining a standard of cleanliness. Make sure you sanitize eJuice bottles and hardware packages before handing them to customers. Your employees should also wash their hands at regular intervals. Some customers may not feel ready to return to your store even as your business is reopening, so continuing curbside pick-up and delivery (if possible in your area) will add value and keep customers happy and safer in the long run.
